US Under 20 Women Down England 3-0

The US Under 20 womens soccer team had little trouble disposing of England in a quarterfinal match at the 2008 Under 20 Womens World Cup in Chile.   England held tight in the first half weathering several American attacks to make it to halftime tied 0-0.

The 2nd half was all USA though as they netted three times to win comfortably.  Keelin Winters opened the scoring for the US just nine minutes after the break as she got on the end of a Christine Nairn cross.  Forward Sydney Leroux would add the other two goals as the Americans now advance to the semifinals.  The US now awaits the winner of the Brazil - Germany quarterfinal to be palyed tomorrow.
