The US Under 20 Womens Soccer Team is through to the Under 20 World Cup Final in Chile having beaten Germany 1-0 in the semifinal. They will face Korea DPR in the championship match on Sunday. Once again it was Sydney Leroux as the hero as she scored the winner in the 21st minute. Nikki Washington was able to get down the right side and send a perfect ball into the box which Leroux slid to put into the net.
The Germans nearly got the tying goal in the 88th minute, but a wonderful save from US keeper Alyssa Naeher kept the Americans on top and into the final. Germany will face France in the 3rd place match.
