US finalizes spring schedule leading to World Cup
US Soccer has announced the final matches for the US National Soccer Team in preparation for this summer's World Cup in South Africa.  Today May matches with the Czech Republic and Turkey to round out their Send-Off Series.  The two high profile opponents should lend a good test for the American squad.  The match with the Czech Republic will be played May 25th at a site to be announced while the Turkey game will take place May 29th in Philadelphia.

Neither Turkey nor the Czech Republic qualified for the World Cup this summer, both will field more than competitive sides to challenge the Americans.  Following the game with Turkey the US squad will travel to South Africa for final preparations and the World Cup.

The US National Team is currently in camp right now with the MLS based players readying for a February 24th game against El Salvador to be played in Tampa, Florida.  Following the El Salvador game, the Americans are scheduled to play Holland in Amsterdam on March 3rd.  The Holland game will allow Bob Bradley to use the European based Americans such as Tim Howard, Clint Dempsey and DeMarcus Beasley.
