EPL Title on the line in Manchester Derby

EPL Title on the line in Manchester Derby
Everything is to play for this weekend in the huge Manchester Derby between City and United.  Thanks to last weekend's shock collapse by Manchester United in which they blew a 4-2 lead to Everton in the final minutes the EPL title is back in play.

Manchester City trails United by only three points and can even the race with a win at the Etihad on Monday.  The advantage falls to City as they also hold the goal differential which is the first tie breaker.  So it is a good bet that if City can win on Monday and also win their final two EPL matches they will be champions.

A win or draw for Manchester United and the title would be almost assuredly theirs.  United coach Alex Ferguson said "It'll be a fantastic atmosphere. I hope it lives up to the billing. We're smarting from throwing that game away last week, but we always make things difficult for ourselves - our supporters are used to the drama."

He continued "We are in a better position than Manchester City. We can get two results, they can only get one. They have to win. We can draw or we can win, which is what we will be trying to do."

Manchester City are set to welcome Micah Richards and the controversial Mario Balotelli back into the lineup.  "Despite some stupid things he has done, Mario has done some important things, like his double strike at Old Trafford this season," Mancini told France Football.
