American stud goalkeeper Tim Howard was the hero as Everton advanced to the FA Cup final eliminating Manchester United in penalty kicks after the two played to a 0-0 draw. The loss in penalties halts Manchester United's run for four titles as Sir Alex Ferguson' chose to rest stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Edwin van der Sar.
The two teams played 120 minutes scoreless sending the match to penalties where Tim Howard worked his magic. After Tim Cahill missed his opening kick Tim Howard denied Berbatov and Rio Ferdinand on Man U's opening two kicks. The two saves opened the door for Everton as Baines, Neville, Vaughan and Jagielka all scored their kicks for the victory.
Everton will face Chelsea in the FA Cup final. Cheslea took out Arsenal on Saturday 2-1.
