The summer break is upon us and transfer signings and rumors once again abound across Europe as major players have their names linked with changes. Of course Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka are back in the news as are Gareth Barry and Carlos Tevez.
The change of Presidents at Real Madrid has once again revived speculation about Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka. Both however have rebuffed the rumours. Kaka said yesterday he has no interest asking to be "left in peace" as he is very happy at AC Milan. Cristiano Ronaldo has been coy as always, but seems content at Manchester United.
Another Man U player looks to be on the move though as embattled Carlos Tevez looks to potentially be headed across town to rivals Manchester City who once again look like they are going to throw wild money around this summer in an attempt to buy their way into the England elite. Liverpool and Tottenham are also after Carlos Tevez, but seem unwilling to throw Man City money.
Manchester City announced the signing of Aston Villa star Gareth Barry in a reported £12m move. Barry had a new contract on the table from Villa, but decided to join the Man City train as it speeds toward its goal of fame and glory at all cost.
Michael Ballack signed an extension with Chelsea today which will have him with the club until June 2010.
Expect some action at Chelsea now that new boss Carlo Ancelotti has been introduced. French star Franck Ribery and Spaniard David Villa seem to be on the radar. Check back with Soccermogul as the transfers begin to roll in.
