Spain and Venezuela booked their advancement from Group B at the Under 20 World Cup being held in Egypt. Both squads have won their opening two matches and will face off for the Group B title later this week.
It helps to have minnows Tahita in your group and both Spain and Venezuela have gone big over the poor Tahitians both winning 8-0. The surprise of the group has been the weakness of Nigeria who have been shutout both matches. Nigeria can rescue their World Cup with a multi-goal win over Tahita and claim one of the 3rd place spots advancing.
Group A is wide wide open with Italy, Paraguay and Egypt all within a single point of each other heading into the final group matchday. Trinidad sits bottom table but has put up a good fight in their two matches and wont be a pushover for Paraguay. Italy must take care of the host Egypt side.
Today the US must rebound with a difficult match against Cameroon who defeated Korea Republic 2-0 in their opener. Germany can book their place in the next round with a win over Korea.
