Well anyone who saw the Friday evening Super Group semifinal matches at Dallas Cup XXX could have predicted the winner in Sunday's final. It was clear both Sao Paolo FC and Manchester City were superior to Vancouver and that was played out in Sunday's Dallas Cup XXX Super Group final as Sao Paolo FC rolled to a 4-0 victory to claim the title.
After last year's disappointing Dallas Cup performance, the Brazilians had a point to prove and set about proving last year was a fluke. The game was over almost before it began as the Brazilians showed flair, style and determination in rolling three goals in the first 20 minutes of play. Vancouver was well outclassed, but never quit fighting as they finished a wonderful tournament where nobody picked them to perform so well in getting to the final.
The win was Sao Paolo FC's third Dallas Cup Super Group title and it marked the ninth Brazilian title since 1990.
