Harry Redknapp is working his magic once again. The man can flat out coach and now he is trying to rescue QPR from the relegation zone. Wednesday's result will help immensely as Rangers are slowly closing the gap to escape the drop.
It was an entertaining second half that saw both sides create chances. Fernando Torres was once again ineffective for Chelsea. Leaving him scoreless in his last three matches. With Demba Ba soon to arrive from Newcastle the pressure is increasing on Torres.
The winner for QPR came in the 78th minute after Chelsea failed to deal with a corner kick. Adel Taarabt teed up Shaun Wright-Phillips to blast home leaving the home crowd in stunned silence.
"I can't remember many better wins than this one, with Chelsea flying at the moment," QPR manager Harry Redknapp said.
Chelsea had been playing well of late as new boss Rafa Benitez looked to have the team turned around. Now they find themselves a whopping 14 points behind leaders Manchester United.
It was the first win for Queens Park Rangers at Stamford Bridge in 30 years!
