The wild transfer window at Manchester City continues to be full of adventure as star Brazilian striker walked off the training grounds and headed home to Brazil. Robinho, who signed last summer from Real Madrid, walked out of City's training camp in Tenerife, leaving club officials to admit they did not know where he had gone and casting doubts over his future at the club. Robinho is expected to return to Manchester this weekend to sit down and speak with club officials.
Meanwhile, even though the Kaka deal is off, Man City is making progress on the transfer front with their aggressive spending spree. The latest to agree to transfer in is midfielder Nigel De Jong who arrives from Hamburg of the Bundesliga for a whopping £17m. Nigel De Jong joins earlier signings Craig Bellamy and Wayne Bridge hoping to bolster the floundering squad.
