Fan violence and a large scale pitch invasion marred an otherwise entertaining Carling Cup match between West Ham and Millwall in which West Ham won in extra time 3-1. There was trouble right from the start as fans taunted each other, with many of them concentrating on their rival supporters rather than the action on the pitch.
The West Ham fans were whipped into a frenzy when the home side equalized with only 2 minutes left to play and send the match to extra time. In the overtime West Ham were awarded a penalty kick where Junior Stanislav put home the winner and the crazed fans stormed the pitch. Hence the video below.
