Manchester United moves six points clear of 2nd place Liverpool after a come from behind 2-1 win over Wigan on Wednesday. The weather was terrible and the first half saw Wigan grab the lead on a goal from Hugo Rodallega, but the 2nd half saw a typical Manchester United rally that began with Carlos Tevez being introduced from the bench.
Tevez arrived in the 56th and took only 5 minutes to even the match as he pounced Michael Carrick's shot and flicked it into the net. At that point I don't think anyone doubted Man U would find the winner. It almost didn't come though, but Michael Carrick would be the hero as he fired the winner into the net in the 86th minute.
The win pushes Manchester United well clear and only a point away from their 3rd consecutive EPL title. They can win the title on Saturday when they host Arsenal.
