The top two sides in the EPL standings had no trouble on Wednesday as each rolled to comfortable victories. Manchester City held onto the top spot as they cruised to a 3-0 win against an overmatched Stoke City squad. Kun Aguero notched a pair in the easy win.
Meanwhile, rivals and second placed Manchester United rolled into west London and smashed Fulham 5-0 at Craven Cottage. It was just never a match five different players found the net with a cracking 25 yard shot from Wayne Rooney being the highlight.
Arsenal kept pace with the leaders as they slipped past Aston Villa 2-1. Robin van Persie was in his usual form scoring a penalty kick and assisting on the winner from Yossi Benayoun.
Liverpool slipped up as they slumped to a scoreless draw with bottomfeeders Wigan. Charlie Adam missed a penalty in the draw which left the Reds in 6th place. Newcastle also lost ground as they fell at home to West Brom 3-2.
There is one match left in this round of EPL matches and what a cracker it should be as Chelsea travel to White Hart Lane to face Tottenham tomorrow.
