Inter Milan fire coach Gasperini after only three months

Inter Milan fire coach Gasperini after only three months
Well that didn't last long.  The tenure of Gian Piero Gasperini as head coach at Inter Milan lasted less than three months.  To say it has been a disastrous month of September would be an understatement for the proud Italian Serie A club.

Last week Inter lost in Champions League play to Turkish side Trabzonspor in Italy.  They were shutout 1-0 by a team they are more than expected to beat.  They have been jsut as bad in Serie A play losing their opener to Palermo and palying a scoreless draw with Roma.  Then yesterday even more humiliation was heaped on the team as they fell to Italian minnows Novara by a 3-1 score.  Inter currently sit 17th in the standings.

Inter thanked Gasperini for his work, adding that Daniele Bernazzani and Giuseppe Baresi coached the team in a training session Tuesday. There was no immediate word on his full-time replacement.
