Inter Milan and controversial coach Jose Mourinho cruised into the Champions League semifinals winning 1-0 in Russia over CSKA Moscow today. Inter won both legs of the quarterfinal 1-0. CSKA Moscow had hopes of the upset with the second leg in Moscow and only trailing 1-0 in aggregate. Those thoughts quickly vanished when Wesley Sneijder put Inter in front after only 6 minues of play. Sneijder drilled a freekick under the wall and past Moscow keeper Akinfeev.
The task got even easier for Inter when CSKA Moscow defender picked up his second yellow early in the second half leaving the Russian squad a man down the rest of the game. Inter strung possession together killing of the game and earning their spot in the Champions League semifinals. Inter Milan will meet the winner of the Barcelona-Arsenal matchup playing out.
