Liverpool and Chelsea kept hot on the heels of Manchester United with EPL wins last weekend. Man U squeeked by Sunderland 2-1 to remain a point ahead of Liverpool in the standings. Liverpool blasted Blackburn 4-0 at home while Chelsea jumped out to a 4-0 lead on Bolton and hung on at 4-3 for the win.
Manchester United sits atop the EPL on 71 with Liverpool on 70 and Chelsea on 67. Manchester United also has a very valuable game in hand as well. All three sides have Champions League semifinal matches midweek before getting the weekend off from league play.
All three have home matches waiting upon their EPL return. The biggest being Liverpool hosting fourth place Arsenal. Chelsea hosts Everton and Man U hosts struggling Portsmouth. The title is still in United's control, but any slipup could open the door for Liverpool who really have nobody left on their schedule they should not beat.
