It didn't take long for Chelsea to find a replacement for Luis Felipe Scolari as they have confirmed that Dutchman Guus Hiddink will be their next lead man. Scolari was fired just Monday after a poor run of form dropped Chelsea to 4th in the EPL and out of the title chase.
Chelsea's Russian owner Roman Abramovich went straight for what he new best and that was Guus Hiddink. He is the current coach of the Russia National Team and Hiddink will combine his responsibilities with the national team with his role at Chelsea, Abramovich used his close ties with the Russian FA to broker the deal.
Hiddink will be introduced and meet his Chelsea squad later this week as he is currently in Turkey with the Russian team.
