Freddy Adu is coming home after several years in Europe to play with the Philadelphia Union. He'll be reunited with Philadelphia Union coach Peter Nowak, who previously instructed Adu at DC United and on the 2008 U.S. Olympic team.
Freddy Adu, 22, started his career in MLS with DC United as a 14 yr old in 2004. He later played with Real Salt Lake and starred with the US Under 17 National Team before leaving MLS in 2007 to sign with Portugal's Benfica. He has bounced around Europe on loan ever since then with varying degrees of success.
This summer Freddy Adu revived interest as he played well for the United States during the CONCACAF Gold Cup this summer making an influential appearance in the final against rvals Mexico. He'll be looked to make a slas for the Union astry to take the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Currently they trail the Columbus Crew by a single point in the standings, but have a game in hand.

FC Dallas was just minutes away from grabbing the full three points against the LA Galaxy at The Home Depot Center. They just could not close the deal though as Pat Noonan scored in stoppage time to salvage the tie.
