Four New Faces on Roster for US - China Game

U.S. coach Bob Bradley's 19-man roster for Saturday's friendly against China includes 11 European-based players who are also on the USA's Gold Cup roster and four national team newcomers: Lee Nguyen (PSV Eindhoven/Netherlands), Kamani Hill (Wolfsburg/Germany), Charlie Davies (Hammarby/Sweden), Sacha Kljestan (Chivas USA).

The contingent of MLS players for the China game is limited to Chivas USA players because Chivas does not have a game this weekend. The squad's most experienced players are Kasey Keller, DaMarcus Beasley, Carlos Bocanegra, Clint Dempsey, Tim Howard, Oguchi Onyewu and Ante Razov.

China head coach Zhu Guanghu has named 23 players for the upcoming trip to the United States, including Manchester United striker Dong Fangzhuo and Energie Cottbus midfielder Shao Jiaya. After the U.S. match, the Chinese will also face the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Colorado Rapids in friendlies. Guanghu is using the trip to prepare for the Asian Cup finals in July.
