The fight is on for Kaka as Cheslea has jumped into the fray going over the top of the Real Madrid bid. Who will win the bidding war? Kaka is on record earlier this week stating he wants to stay with AC Milan and that is where his heart is. However, it is no secret AC Milan is an aging squad and could use the transfer fee to rebuild the roster. Both the Real Madrid bid and the Chelsea bid are probably too great to turn down for Milan.
Sky Sports is reporting a new Chelsea bid of £73.5m which would see Kaka clear £10m a year after tax and £200,000 per week. The Real Madrid bid is reported to be £56m. Either bid will eclipse the 2001 record breaking fee paid when Real Madrid paid Juventus £46m for Zinedine Zidane. However, now Chelsea has come out stating the reported bid is untrue and that they have made no push at Kaka. Let the rumours begin.
No matter where Kaka lands he will not be introduced until the end of the month as he is currently with the Brazil squad preparing for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers and the Confederations Cup, and the national team insist he will not be released for any official presentation until after the tournament in South Africa.
