Dallas Cup has released the lineup for the Dallas Cup XXX Super Group and what a tournament it should be! Italian giants AC Milan headline the twelve teams, but it will be a battle to determine the champion as quality from around the world will be on hand. In addition to AC Milan, Manchester City will be sending their youth side that won the English youth title last year. Throw in Eintracht Frankfurt from Germany and Europe will be well represented in the field.
South America will also feature a pair of teams capable of taking the title. Sao Paolo, 2007 Dallas Cup champions, return looking to rebound after a subpar 2008 performance. River Plate from Argentina are also sending their youth squad. Look for fast, attractive play from both these sides.
Urawa Red Diamonds will represent Japan in Dallas Cup XXX. Urawa are the Under 18 champions of Japan. Two squads hail from Canada. Toronto FC will be sending their youth team as will the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Two teams will represent the United States in Dallas Cup XXX. Last years national champions Andromeda SC will join Dallas Texans in the Super Group.
AC Milan will play in the feature game on opening night at Pizza Hut Park after the Dallas Cup opening ceremony.
