Conference play is in high gear around the country and several quality matchups dotted the schedule last weekend. Indiana affirmed their control of the Big Ten with a win over Northwestern and North Carolina upset Duke to get back into the national picture.
ACC ---
Boston College took the weekend off from conference play and continue to hold onto first place at 4-0-0. Wake Forest inched closer after an impressive drubbing of NC State. North Carolina and Clemson both pulled upsets over Duke and Virginia respectively.

Big Ten --
Indiana took control of the Big Ten soccer race with a 1-0 win over Northwestern while Michigan State served notice they were to be dealt with after two impressive victories on the week. Michigan State trounced rival Michigan 5-0 and defeated Notre Dame earlier in the week as well. Ohio State moved into the fight thanks to a solid win over Wisconsin.

Surprise San Diego State sits atop the league at 3-0-0 after solid home wins over California and Stanford. The rest of league is in a tight pack and should shake itself out over the next couple of weeks.

U Conn and Notre Dame remain the class of the Big East while the rest try to keep pace. The middle of the pack contains numerous teams in a tight pack but Villanova has moved to the top with 4 conference wins.
