Fresh from leading Ranges to a stunning 3-0 Champions League victory at French kings Lyon, DaMarcus Beasley claimed it was the product of superb teamwork. The American served the corner kick for Lee McCullough to open the scoring, then capped the win with a second half goal.
"It was a great effort from everyone," exclaimed Beasley. "We don't have any stars, anyone who can change the game instantly but we work hard for each other."
Working in the group of death, the Ibrox crew were seen as weak sisters, but now hold six points from their first two Group E matches.
"Hopefully we can get into the next round," said Beasley. "We're not laughing yet, we've not done anything and we haven't qualified. No one gave us a chance going into this match - now we're top of the group with Barcelona and if we beat them we're almost through."
