Champions League knockout draw - Arsenal face Barcelona

Champions League knockout draw - Arsenal face Barcelona
The draw is complete for the knockout phase of the Champions League and a juicy matchup is on the table right off the bat as Arsenal will face powerful Barcelona in the round of 16.    Revenge will be on Arsenal's minds after Barca knocked them out last year in the quarterfinals of the competition.

"My reaction is very simple - difficult but possible," Arsene Wenger told Arsenal's official website. "I didn't want anybody really, in that all teams would have been difficult. You could have said that Schalke - a team with less history in the Champions League - would have been easier maybe, but the advantage is that we will be on our toes and we'll be ready. Revenge is not on my mind. We want to qualify and we want to knock them out. So is it difficult? Yes. Is it possible? Yes."

Tottenham also face a difficult test in the round of 16 as they face off against AC Milan.  The Italians currently lead Serie A by six points are have tons of Champions League experience in their squad.

Chelsea got the break of the round as they drew FC Copenhagen.  The Danes are the first squad from that country to qualify for the knockouts and Chelsea will need to overcome their recent struggles in EPL play.

Bayern Munich face off with Inter Milan in a rematch of last season's final.  The Germans would love to exact some revenge for last year and Inter are clearly not as strong a side as the group that took the title.

Manchester United got a good draw as they'll face French side Marseille, while French mates Lyon have the difficult challenge of Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid.  The other two draws were Valencia against Schalke and Roma facing the difficult test of Shakhtar Donetsk.
