Juventus booked their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League thanks to their stunning 2-0 win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. Ageless Alessandro Del Piero netted both goals for the Italians. Elsewhere, Manchester United needed an 84th minute goal from Ryan Giggs to salvage a draw with Celtic and Arsenal were held to a scoreless draw at home by Fenerbache.
