Casa Mia Bays capture McGuire Cup
The Balitmore Casa Mia Bays grabbed the 2009 McGuire Cup with a 2-0 victory over NASA Elite from Georgia behind goals from Mark Jaskolski and Brendan Klebanoff. The two squads had opened the tournament with a scoreless draw so everyone expected a strong match for the McGuire Cup.  It was a tightly contested opening half of play and looked to be headed to halftime scoreless until right at the death Baltimore Casa Mia Bays grabbed the important opening goal as Mark Jaskolski knocked home a cross from John Raley.

The second saw NASA Elite respond as they pushed for the tying goal.  The Bays defense stood strong though as they turned back attacks from Gerard Barbero and Mark Lavery of NASA Elite.  Finally, with time running down a counter settled the match as Brendan Klebanoff got loose grabbing the second goal and the title for the Casa Mia Bays.
