The David Beckham saga appears to not be over as AC Milan and MLS are back at the negotiating table. Meanwhile, all the talk from the Bundesliga has Landon Donovan returning to MLS and the Galaxy.
Even though MLS spokesman called the talks dead last week, rumours are that AC Milan and MLS are back at the table talking about a Beckham stay at AC Milan and Serie A. Talk is of an 18 month contract for Beckham. He is so desparate to stay at Milan now talk is of David Beckham using his own money to buy out his MLS contract. It is thought Galaxy are holding out for £12m while Milan are refusing to go higher than £8m.
Meanwhile, it looks like Landon Donovan will be returning to MLS and the Galaxy according to comments from Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. He said Donovan is an interesting player, but also said that Bayern already has Miroslav Klose and Luca Toni on the roster as well as Ivica Olic signed to join the squad in the summer. It didn't sound like there would be room for Landon. His loan expires on March 15th.
