Two dramatic late goals from Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi gave Barcelona the Clasico win over bitter rivals Real Madrid in a tense encounter at the Nou Camp. It was Real Madrid's first league match under new coach Juande Ramos and Real were able to frustrate Barcelona for long periods. It even looked as if Real Madrid were set to snatch a point after Iker Casillas saved Samuel Eto'o's penalty with just 20 minutes remaining to play.
But Eto'o would make amends for the missed penalty as he finally gave the Catalans the lead only seven minutes from time. Young star Lionel Messi smashed home a second in stoppage time to move Pep Guardiola's side a comfortable 12 points ahead of their fierce rivals after 15 rounds of the championship.
