Barcelona were held to a 1-1 draw over the weekend at home to Mallorca. An early Barcelona goal from Lionel Messi, who returned from injury, would not hold up. Mallorca's Emilio Nsue shocked the home crowd just before halftime notting the match. The second half would have plenty off the patented Barca possession and attack, but the giants were unable to find the winner.
Barcelona outshot Mallorca 27-10 on the night, but the visitors keeper Dudu Aouate was up to the task notching 9 saves in the game. The home side were happy to get Lionel Messi back from injury however Barca lost Pedro for a few weeks with a muscle injury in the match.
The tie leaves Barcelona sitting 4th in La Liga after 6 matches. Valencia leads the way followed closely by Villareal and Real Madrid. Mallorca sits 9th after the quality point on the road.
