Arsenal continued their impressive start to the 2009-10 English Premier League season notching 4 more goals in an impressive win at Portsmouth Saturday. The goals are coming in bunches from the skilled squad. Last weekend Arsenal opened the EPL season with a 6-1 destruction of Everton. They followed it up with an impressive 2-0 Champions League win at Celtic.
Saturday it was Portsmouth's turn to face the offensive juggernaut and on 20 minutes it was already 2-0 to Arsenal as Abou Diaby had both goals. Kaboul would pull one back for Portsmouth, but the result was never in doubt. William Gallas and Aaron Ramsay would provide the final goals in the 2nd half.
The win puts top of the EPL table with their impressive plus eight goal differential. Next weekend is a huge early season showdown as Arsenal makes their trip to Old Trafford to face defending champions Manchester United. A chance for Arsenal to send a message to the whole English Premier League that they are the team to beat this year.
