US Bolsters Roster for Big Match with Mexico
Midfielders Clint Dempsey and Bobby Convey, defender Carlos Bocanegra and goalkeeper Tim Howard were picked Friday for the twenty man roster for next week's exhibition game against Mexico. The veterans all play in England, with Dempsey and Bocanegra at Fulham, Convey at Reading and Howard at Everton.

Forwards Landon Donovan, Taylor Twellman and Eddie Johnson are among the 16 Major League Soccer players on the roster for Wednesday's game at Glendale, Arizona.

"Everyone is looking forward to the chance to finally play in one of the great rivalries in our sport," US interim head coach Bob Bradley said.

The roster:
Goalkeepers: Joe Cannon (Los Angeles), Tim Howard (Everton, England)

Defenders: Chris Albright (Los Angeles), Carlos Bocanegra (Fulham, England), Jonathan Bornstein (Chivas USA), Bobby Boswell (D.C.), Jimmy Conrad (Kansas City), Bryan Namoff (D.C.), Eddie Robinson (Houston)

Midfielders: Brian Carroll (D.C.), Ricardo Clark (Houston), Bobby Convey (Reading, England), Clint Dempsey (Fulham, England), Joshua Gros (D.C.), Justin Mapp (Chicago), Pablo Mastroeni (Colorado)

Forwards: Landon Donovan (Los Angeles), Eddie Johnson (Kansas City), Chris Rolfe (Chicago), Taylor Twellman (New England)
