Freddy Adu to go on Trial with Manchester United

Freddy Adu will get his long-awaited first taste of European club soccer when goes on trial with Manchester United for two weeks later this month. DC United and MLS have given Adu permission to join Man U starting Nov 18th, three days after he is expected to play in a US Under 20 national team game against Guatemala in Florida. Adu is under contract with DC United for one more year and would generate a hefty sum of money for MLS were he sold.
