Arsenal might have seen their Champions League hopes dwindle with every missed opportunity against CSKA Moscow in London on Wednesday. Missed opportunity followed missed opportunity as Arsenal sqaundered many glorious goal scoring chances in the fixture. The resulting 0-0 draw left CSKA Moscow surprisingly still on top of the group with only 2 games to play. In the meantime Porto was taking care of Hamburg to move into a tie with Arsenal on 7 points. Here is where it gets sticky for Arsenal. In the next round Arsenal must travel to Porto. A Porto win and a CSKA Moscow win over last place Hamburg would put Arsenal in a world of hurt as well as guaranteeing CSKA Moscow a spot in the quarterfinals. Arsenal needs to grab at least a draw in Porto and then take care of last place Hamburg to look to go through.
