A solid effort from North Carolina went unrewarded as Wake won in penalty kicks to advance to the semifinals on Friday.

A strong effort from Virginia sends them to the next round. A pair of first half goals from Yannick Reyering and Adam Cristman put Clemson fighting uphill all night long.
#4 Maryland 1 #5 Boston College 0 double overtime
Boston College came out and took the first half to Maryland but had nothing to show for it at the half. The 2nd half saw Maryland get their legs and begin to dominate, but they as well could not cash in. Late in the first overtime period freshman Omar Gonzalez sent a throw-in into the box from the left side. Boston College tried to clear the ball, but it landed on the foot of Edu. Edu fired a cross through the box. Zusi was open in the box and redirected the pass into the net for the win.
